Audio/Video Cool Gadgets : Logitech Mini Boombox

The company says that the Mini Boombox can “unchain your music”, and I will have to agree. It is quite easy to pair with a smartphone, and I was listening to my music without headphones in seconds.

The sound from the thing is pretty amazing for something disproportionate to its size, and my first listen provoked me to turn down the volume right away. The buttons on the top are backlit touch panel which allow them to be used in the dark as well as the light.

Best Cool Gadget Stuff : Griffin’s Beacon

It's been quite a while since we got our hands on Griffin's Beacon universal remote control, way back at CES. The IR converter has since hit the market for iOS users, but the Android community, until recently, had been left in the dark. That changed yesterday, however, when Griffin announced that its wire-free system is now available for Google-powered handsets and tablets.

Best Audio/Video Cool Gadget : Optrix HD Sport Mount

I guess it goes without saying that a device like the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod touch are extremely beautiful to look at, boasting all of the industrial design genius that hails from Cupertino, where it will also naturally come at a price – such gizmos are more often than not fragile. Well, the thought of using one of the three mentioned devices from Apple as an action sports camera is certainly a daunting one, as Gorilla Glass won’t do much if you happen to suffer from a fall and said Apple device kisses the ground – hard.

Best Audio/Video Cool Gadget : SPAR Zephyr 300 Bluetooth Speaker

This tiny black box is the SPAR Zephyr 300 Bluetooth speakerphone, and it is designed to be a wireless speaker that is about the size (but not thickness of) a smartphone.

So if you are looking for a way to take the music off a Bluetooth compatible device and make it more…public, then this is one way. Just put a thick rectangle in both pockets.

Best Audio/Video Cool Gadget : Big Blue Live Wireless Speakers

Now, don’t get mixed up with the naming convention here – Big Blue Audio here has nothing to do with IBM, as the latter’s nickname clearly does not deal with any kind of audio products for your living room or organization. No sir, Big Blue Audio is an audio company instead (no kidding, Sherlock, just look at the name itself), where it has just put up on offer a couple of its audio devices to tempt you to part with your hard earned money – the Big Blue as well as Big Blue Live Wireless Speakers.

Best Audio/Video Cool Gadget : Megaphone horn speaker for the iPhone

Some of you might remember when we went hands-on with the iHorn, a stand/speaker that essentially uses no electricity, but relies on natural acoustics for louder sound.

Think of it like the big horn on those old gramophones. We all know that the iPhone speaker is pretty diminutive, so we could use a little amplifier that works like one of those giant Bavarian horns on the mountaintops.

Best Electronic and Audio/Video Gadget Stuff : The Doctor’s Nano-Recorder

You know how it is like when you want to remember something – instead of writing it down on a notepad with a pen or pencil, you can do so with a voice recorder. It surely is far more beneficial since it can be proof in the court of law that the person actually said so, not to mention you get to relive the moment aurally since every single intonation and word is recorded for all posterity.

Best Bluetooth and Audio/Video Gadget Stuff : Logitech Wireless Boombox for the iPad.

Logitech seems to be doing a lot of wonders with wireless technology, like the Wireless Headset that I reviewed a few weeks ago.

Now they have the Wireless Boombox, which I also got a chance to try out. There are some portable speakers that produce some real kickin’ sound that can really rock a room.

Best Gadget Stuff : AOC Aire Pro Monitor.

It looks like Apple’s work with an aluminum unibody device has been proven as a masterstroke and an inspiration to a lot of others, as you see HTC furthermore using a unibody design in their range of Android-powered smartphones. Well, aluminum is also liberally used in the AOC Aire Pro Monitor, coming in a sleek and brushed form factor, making it the perfect complement to modern homes and offices.

Best Audio/Video Gadget And Gamming Gadget : Revisiting the Trioviz Inficolor 3D Glasses.

I first encountered the Trioviz Inficolor 3D glasses when I was at E3 in Los Angeles last summer. I recently had some sent to me, and so now I can say that I have tried it in non-ideal circumstances.

Best Gadget Stuff : JBL OnBeat Air grooves to Airplay technology.

When it comes to audio devices, you know for sure (your ears probably won’t be able to fool you) when you see the logo “JBL” emblazoned across, that quality will be there. I guess that is the case for most, as I am quite sure that there will be a group of you out there who will disagree. Well, one of JBL’s latest releases would be the JBL OnBeat Air – a device that is said to deliver incredible sound over the wireless technology from Apple known as Airplay, letting you stream your favorite tunes via your laptop, iPhone or iPad

Best Gadget Stuff : t’Light S

iPod/iPhone docks are dime a dozen for the longest time ever since Steve Job’s idea took off in an explosive way, and most of the time, they come in the form of a built-in alarm clock, some with bigger speakers than the rest.

Well, what M&C Lighting has in store is something totally different – taking the road less traveled, so to speak, by coming in the form of a lamp. Yes sir, not only can you dock your portable media player cum phone from Apple in here to juice it up and play your favorite tunes, you will also be able to use the artistically named t’Light S to provide enough light while you read the latest book on poets.
